 | The masterplan design explores the potential of this rain dominated land creating a weave of network systems; an integrated circuit of landscape, ecology, urban fabric, transport and services. |

| The design concept for this site rich with biodiversity is inspired from the distinctive regional monsoon season creating a flow of water networks shaping this surrounding land and the Konkan life. | |
 Site Analysis | Like water tributaries, the rain water sub-surface network becomes the primary design driver, followed by the interconnected green network that form around them, finally shaping the fluid parcels of land within it, with the major road network kept only at the peripheries. |
| As a multi-use masterplan, our proposal reflected the mix of programs needed to be incorporated ranging from schools, sports centres , hotels, shops and housing. |  |
| The masterplan design preserves and recreates an ecological habitat for the variety of flowering plants, trees and for the surrounding bird sanctuaries allowing the inhabitants to enjoy variety of walks and bicycle rides through the different sets of landscapes. |  Wetland Section |
 Layered Networks | The design also proposes ‘living green roofs’ that will change with every season, serving as naturally cooling mechanism during summer, transforming to lush green landscapes during monsoon and a floral patchwork pattern during the winter. |
