The project entails two villas for two friends who are looking for an expansive and artistic vacation/ retreat house in Coonoor. The first point of inspiration is the Blue Moon phenomenon, a rare phenomenon, where two full moons meet in a single circular phase, we wanted the two houses of these two friends to meet while still being apart. Where each of their spaces reflects their own, while still being connected to the other. Like the phases of the moon , we wanted the architecture of the houses to reflect its passage of time, flowing with the mountains, flowing with scenarios, flowing with spaces.
